THE BREATH OF GOD

We wonder sometimes where is God
In all that suffering. Oh why
We are striving but no answers fly
In the breeze, but strokes of the rod?

Nothing fits our needs for welfare,
not the pleasures of life, Even
The lovers, the dreams of heaven
Don't give us a deal true or fair.

We smile but we don't laugh so well
We laugh but we don't enjoy it
We dream but we don't really eat
We think it's good, but it's just hell

Oh! How will wealth feed and sustain
Our desires with all that pain
When we don't know, don't live the main
Means of our life?What is our gain?

Where are we coming from? Going?
Essential questions Answers: none
Process, finality unknown
Process through what! What are we doing?

Sometimes,... many times, we succeed;
So often, we loose... try again
We fight, we cheer and we complain
But we're still looking for the seed

If anything hurts, if no more hope
If our heart is empty or full,
Then we feel the breath of God: dull!
The breath of God is no more dope.

And He is there...GOD

He is, He said I am, He's the Reality
The One you see, when all comes down to vanity
The One who sustains you, The One who stands for you
He is, He's with you here, there, with strength, joy, anew

He's the forgotten One, The One longing for you
The One they trample on, The One who died for you
He's there, He wants to help with your worries, your pain
He wants to carry you, you want to walk, in vain

When He wants to help you walk, you want a car
He cares about your health, He wants to take you far
Into Eternity, He wants you close to Him
He wants you so much and so much you need Him

And you look around you, and you see misery
And the ones crying for relief and some mercy
So much suffering and such troubling confusion
And you stand there and see the complete erosion

And you ask where is God? And you wonder, you faint
I'll tell you where God is, I saw him listening
To the loud and crying prayers of humble ones
Little people in little places on many runs

They pray and they pray, they ask again and again
What have you gone to see? What is it that they gain
They know because they keep at it, in little shacks
In desert places, they don't know much but know facts

They know He's there, because they have seen Him before
They know He cares because they've always been cared for
He is here in your soul, and your heart pumps His love
And He is there with you, always, sweet like a dove

And his light will guide you at every step you take
He has set open doors ahead of plans you make
When you listen to Him and The Holy Spirit
He wrote a love letter to you with such merit

Jesus is The Word sent to die and live for you
His stories that guide you and your future renew
Are for you to share with weary souls and all men
You are one of His words to the world, an omen

All of you are blessings, when you keep your whole hearts
Your bodies, fed only by God with Manna parts
Food from herbs and trees, fruits, with colors to give joy
Peace, Life and Health, Faith, good works and walks, enjoy

VISIONS OF A YOUNG CHRISTIAN WOMAN

I walked in and there she was
In the fellowship room
Eating wisely
Listening and talking
Like in a vision
Pretty and sweet
A christian beauty

I walked toward her
Attracted by the pull of righteousness
Perceived in the charm of this new face
I talked to her like you talk to an angel
And her voice sounded Heavenly
And her smile from out of this world
Opened my heart to the bliss of womanhood

I sat there talking to her
Under the spell of her serenity
And suddenly she looked straight into my eyes
And I saw a sunset, her feminine tenderness
Illuminating her warm gaze
The ultimate beauty
Of her christian face

And we talked, we talked
Like in the badinerie of Bach
So lovely a woman
Such joyful conversation
And me struck there as if
I was being born again
In the christian charm
Of Eve, a cascade of pearls in her laugh

I tell you God made women too pretty
It gets dizzy to be so close
To so much exquisite feminity
In a beautiful christian woman
I needed a step back
A step into prayer
A step out, a step into ideal reality

And we finally walked out
Accompanied, but on our own
Free to get to know each other
And she asks the right questions
She complains nicely about life's inconveniences
She questions why things happen
God is in charge, He leads and we follow

Be cautious like a serpent
And innocent like a dove
Get God's perspective through prayer
Friendship, love, and the future are in his hands
It's always wonderful to explore affinities
A sense of priorities,
God, studies, career, family, investment, lifestyle
Getting to know a christian woman like you
Is a divine pleasure , heaven on earth...

May God bless you in all your endeavors

YOUTH QUESTIONS

What are the means by which young people may testify for christ wherever they are, at home, at school, on the playgrounds, in all the recreattion activities and in all the meetings. In what kinds of ministries young people may venture into?

THE SMILE OF GOD :)

The desert with no end, strife is ahead of you
Problems abound and signs of relief are but few
You walk the path laden with inconveniences
Vexations lead to sins with bad appearances

Contacts with God strengthen you bit by bit in faith
And you rise gradually by avoiding the bait
Of despair, unbelief, you'll cling tight to his promise
To deliver you out of all your growing mess

The Spirit leads you to new horizons, blue skies
Where you may feel better, enjoy such stronger ties
With your Father and the love and the grace of Jesus
Empowering our soul and thus forgiving us

The gates of Heaven will open up your thinking
And you will see the hand of your Majestic King
In the grandeur of a wonderful universe
Where God to disorder is so clearly averse

Stars will shine in your mind as to your eyes, you'll see
God in charge, his power to lead you in the sea
Of life with a future for your good desires
As long as you believe when you walk through fires

The breeze will wake you up and nature will welcome
Your weary soul, then the sweet smile of God will come
Through your heart, you will take time to enjoy flowers
On your path, the green leaves of the trees, His wonders

You will see, you will smell, you will hear, you will feel
The smile of God to you, in nature you will fill
Your lungs of His breath like in the Niagara Falls
You'll stand tall again with God's smiling in His Halls

To start with inspiration

If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Rudyard Kipling
If...You will be a woman

If you can grow every day more and more
Saying of many experiences, I enjoyed it
Hiding in your memory all these lessons
And always recognize similar sounds

If you often can live according to your thoughts
Trying to stay away from past fantasies
Overcome with pride these passions of misfortune
Losing also but keeping your hopes for happiness

If you can raise yourself up from any previous act
That could afflict you, by making a tough pact
Taking action for what your mind desires,
With firmness, without a slip and without a sigh.

If you can understand life and well being
Have great ideals, wholesome and appearing to be
And behaving with restraint and calm,
But acting efficiently, loving to please your soul

If you can keep your control everywhere
Set yourself up to attain your goals
Admitting failure for the righteousness of heart
Have character without rancor

If you can flee with disdain the caprices of the heart
Staying away from dirt and vice with fear
Ah! Cultivate an innocent charm, almost childlike
Exhale grace with humility

This being good basis for any sincere love,
The fresh flowers that win a mother's heart
The esteem, the wealth of a good fiance
Friends who are always happy to help you

If you can accept without ongoing negligence
Respect so that you may be respected without a word
The love, hope, strength of Jesus in your heart,
Will make of you a real woman, my dear sister.
